Duration:10 teaching hours
Cost: Free participation (the cost will be covered by NESTOR 75208)
The programme is designed to bridge different scientific disciplines by focusing on training engineers and genomic scientists in the interpretation of ultrasound images, data standards and annotation frameworks. The aim is the development of a common analytical framework and ontologies for multimodal AI modelling (genomic, imaging and clinical data).
An additional objective is the alignment of emerging innovations with the needs of healthcare professionals and patients through implementation mapping.
Participants will be able to design and develop methods for integrating clinical, genomic and ultrasound data, recognize sources of diagnostic uncertainty, and contribute to the development of AI models. They will also be able to evaluate ethical and social parameters and co-create communication tools for public engagement in the development of ethically acceptable emerging technologies.
